Barbara Jean Sturges, age 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Robert and Doris Herendeen and a 1968 graduate of North Side High School. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Carriage House. Barbara is survived by her children, Timothy (Andrea Smith) VanGorder of Fort Wayne and Brandee Sterling of Churubusco, IN; grandsons, Brockton Sterling and Tyson Sterling; sister, Vicky Kenseth of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Imas. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.
