Barbara Jean Pickett died on August 1, 2024 and was surrounded by her husband and three sons when she entered God's Kingdom of Heaven. Her family will miss her fierce loyalty, passion, and love for her family.

Barb was born on July 24, 1940 in Adams County to the late Hubert and Loretta Geisler.
Barb loved Bible studies and Naomi Circle. Her passions included baking, gardening, traveling with Stan, taking care of her home, and spending time with her family. She worked twenty-five years in the banking and title industries.

Barb grew up with five sisters; Phyllis, Patty, Arlene, Mary, and Catherine. Phyllis, Patty, and Catherine preceded Barb in death.
Barb was married to her surviving husband Stan Pickett on October 1, 1961. She is also survived by her three sons, Todd Pickett (Ann Trzynka), Steve Pickett, and Doug (Stefanie) Pickett; ten beloved grandchildren, Kate (Garrett) Shanebrook, Mason Pickett, Jon Pickett, Clayton Pickett, Elizabeth Pickett, Reagan Pickett, Kellen Pickett, JaeLyn Pickett, Jackson Pickett, and Quinnlyn Pickett.
A funeral service for Barb will take place on Thursday, August 8th 2024 at 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E. Visitation will also take place Wednesday, August 7 from 5 - 8 PM, also at the church. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery. Preferred Memorials may be directed to New Haven United Methodist Church.
