Obituary

Barbara Jean "Barb" Guth, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Born in Bemidji, Minnesota, Barb was a daughter of the late Eugene Ryan and Patricia Ryan who survives. Barb earned her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin. Barb was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had the love of teaching others and that continued in everything she did. Most recently, Barb enjoyed crocheting crafts for her family. Barb loved Christmas and looked forward to the 24 days of Christmas with her grandchildren. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Michael Guth; children, Ryan (Heather) Guth, Regan (Miranda) Guth, Alison (Jean-Paul) Spagnolo; grandchildren, London, Taylor, Kennedy, Braden, Parker, Baylee, Isabella, Quinn, Camden; siblings, Dale (Mary Pat) Ryan, Linda (Gary) Antonich, Susan (Robert) Larson, John (Debbie) Ryan, and Dan (Dina) Ryan. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5401 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Memorial Calling with be Friday, July 9, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, from 4 pm to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-Humanitarian Fund or Tunnels to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
