Barbara L. Gernhardt, age 91, of Fort Wayne went home to be with her Lord on May 1, 2022. She was a charter member of Highland Bethel Evangelical Church. She is survived by her children, Angela (Todd) Seiman, Gregg (Brandy) Gernhardt, Jeff (Marlie) Gernhardt, Rick (Angie) Gernhardt, and Dan (Danielle) Gernhardt; 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Susan Chambers and Nancy Reed. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Gernhardt; mother, Ruth Hockemeyer; and her brother, Wayne Perry. Service is 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior.
