Barbara L. Coleman, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Idona Holland.

Barbara dedicated her career to serving others as a customer service representative at NIPSCO. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, she was an active member of McKee Street Church of God, a devoted Bible reader, and an accomplished pianist who filled her life with music. She found joy in traveling abroad, tending to her garden, and listening to the timeless melodies of Johnny Mathis.

She is survived by her children, Paula Peterson, Marvin (wife, Evueta) Tabron, Crystal Tabron-Belcher, and Anthony (wife, Beverly) Tabron; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Donna Lawrence, Leonard Holland, and Linda Holland.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, George Coleman; her first husband, Reynold Tabron; her son, Ronald Tabron; and five siblings: Marcia Charleston, Charlotte Gaines, Jessie Howard, Cecelia Thomas, and Kenneth Holland, Jr.
