Barbara Jeanne Barrett, 96, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great grandmother to her family. While serving as a WWII US Navy veteran, she met her husband of 65 years, who was also a Navy veteran. She enjoyed making crafts, and crocheting. She performed charity work well into her 90s by making rosary beads, hats, and scarfs for various charities. Barbara is survived by her children, Kay Huguenard, Mike (Marie) Barrett, Mary (Mike) Reuille, Pat "Charlie" (Cheri) Barrett, John (Cheryl) Barrett, Sue (John) Bone, Terry Barrett, Chris (Rob) Lohr, Tim (Mary) Barrett, Sara Deitrick, Phillip Barrett; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Barrett and son, Raymond Barrett. Service is 11 am, Friday, July 16, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
