Babs Link Kruse, age 90, of Wolcottville, IN passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Fort Wayne.   She was born in Fort Wayne, to the late L. Norman and Marie Link.  Babs worked as an interior decorator for Empire Homes as well as the bookkeeper for Wayne Kruse Real Estate.  She loved animals, feeding birds, spending time in nature especially at the lake with her family.  Babs also enjoyed her monthly luncheon with the Northside Redskins Girls.  She will be remembered most for her quilt making, and the beautiful quilts she made for her family and friends.  Babs is survived by her husband of 70 years, Wayne Kruse;  sons, Daniel Kruse, and David (Jennifer) Kruse;  grandchildren,  Zachery (Brenna), Brittany (Christopher), Alexander, and Jon;   5 great-grandchildren;  and her two cats, Annie and Butterscotch.  She was also preceded in death by her  daughter, Diane Burrell;  and brother, Daniel Link.  Service is 11:00 am, Friday, September 15, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
