Ba (Betty) Thị Pham, phap danh Lệ Ánh, age 85, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021, due to congestive heart failure. She was born October 2, 1936, in Long An, Vietnam. She eloped and married her longtime friend and love, Minh Huu Tran.

Ba (Betty) Thi Pham was the daughter of Pham Văn Quân and Nguyễn Thị Thân. Ba was an administrative coordinator serving in the military in Vietnam for more than 20 years, after that she invested nearly 20 years in the field of retail business before her retirement. Ba love flowers, music, drama movie, basketball, football, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, swimming, and soccer. In addition, Ba was passionate about helping others, and with that, she was surrounded by a group of good friends who are sharing the same passion. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and talking with her good friends, children, and grandchildren. She was always comfy with others with a lovely smile. Surviving are her husband, Minh Tran; sisters Linda Pham; Tu Pham; children, Yen (Linda) Tran; KimLoan Tran; Linh Tran; Tommy Tran; Jedina Mehic; Tina Tran; Tony Tuan Tran; Rachel Tran; grandchildren, Darren Nguyen; Evangeline Tran; Thaddeus Tran; and Malachi Tran.
