B. Dollene Claybaugh, 88, passes away peacefully on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Dollene was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna Helton. She earned her bachelors degree from IPFW and her master's degree from St. Francis University. She was an educator for FWCS for 20 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Dollene enjoyed shopping, working out in her yard, gardening, and taking her family on vacations. Nothing was more important to Dollene than spending time and making memories with her family. Surviving is her daughter; Brenda (William) Schultz; grandchildren, Jason (Jodie) Pearson, Collene (Steven) Pearson, Greg Claybaugh, Jason (Danielle) Schultz, Jeffrey (Morgan) Schultz, Jon Schultz; and 11 great-grandchildren. Dollene was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Claybaugh; son, Alan Claybaugh; siblings, John Helton, and Pauline Luomo. Service is 1 pm, Monday, March 29, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 11 am until the service. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
