Audrey L. Farrance, 99, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Audrey was a daughter of the late Desford and Lucille (Perse) Fox. She was a 1942 graduate of North Side High School. She served our country proudly, while in the U.S. Navy during WWII. During her working years she was in food service , including 25 years at the Hobby Ranch House. She absolutely loved to crochet and made many afghan blankets for her family members. Over the years, Audrey enjoyed traveling, playing games with her family, such as chicken foot dominos and card games. Audrey left a great imprint on those she knew and will be missed greatly. Surviving are her daughters, Judy Brilla, Audrey (Joe) Hindle Louraine, Patricia (Ron) Roberts; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Audrey was preceded in death by her first husband, Joshua Bright Jr.; second husband, Jack Farrance; son, Terry Bright; son-in-law, James Hindle; grandson, Greg Hindle; great-grandson, Joey Brilla; and siblings, Jack Fox, and Babe Flack. Service is 11 am, Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Burial with Military Honors will take place at a later date at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to Blackhawk Christian School.
