Obituary
Antonia "Toni" Lynn Printzos, 70, passed on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Toni was born December 16, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, to Sam and Bess Printzos. The Printzos family moved from Muncie to New Haven in 1969 where Toni attended New Haven Jr/Sr High School. Upon graduation, she attended Ball State University where she received a degree in Special Education.
Toni worked as a Special Education Teacher for Southwest Allen County Schools and Fort Wayne Community Schools. After retirement, she continued working with special needs clients through Easterseals Northeast Indiana as a Behavioral Consultant. Toni made a difference in the lives of her students and clients.
Toni was a life-long member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and highly involved in the Daughters of Penelope at the local and district levels. She served on the AHEPA-DOP District 12 Foundation awarding scholarships to students. Toni was a member of the Holy Trinity Philoptochos charitable organization and a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She was an avid IU fan, enjoyed traveling, loved the color purple, and adored her feline babies.
Toni is survived by her brother John Printzos, several cousins Jean Moyer, Michael (Mary Pat) Sares, Mark (Amy) Sares, Matt (Flo) Sares, Tonia (Terry) Irmen, George (Margie) Sares, Joanne (Michael) Zink, Steve (Sue) Sares, and Dean (Lynn) Sares; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 110 East Wallen Road, with Trisagion Prayers at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Entry Prayers at 9:45 am. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
