Ann Jeanette Lake, 55, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 after a courageous twelve year battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 16, 1967. She was a creative person, very artistic and enjoyed drawing and painting from a young age. She was a long time San Francisco resident and formed a family with her Britex coworkers. She was an AIDS hospice volunteer, Renaissance Fair fan and enjoyed a good Tequila Sunrise. Ann loved animals and nature, always having a soft spot for strays. Surviving are her father, Michael; sisters, Sarah (Nick) Strimmenos, Allison (Joe) Grund; and nephews, George Strimmenos and C.J. Grund. She was preceded in death by her mother Beverly Roach and her nephew Jacob Strimmenos. Service is 1 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2022 FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling 11 am until the service.
