SPC Adam Brice Hile, 28, unexpectedly passed away recently. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Adam was the son of Dave and Trina Hile. Adam was a 2008 graduate of South Side High School and attended both Ball State University and IVY Tech. He proudly served our country in the Army National Guard Bluffton 2/152 as a Cavalry Scout for 8 years and served a deployment in Iraq under Operation New Dawn. He was a man of service to everyone and helped others in his community at every opportunity. He was one of 4 who helped save the life of a young girl after a horrific car accident in 2013. He served many years as a volunteer for MDA and it's summer camp. Surviving are his sisters; Kendra Tyler (Michael), Marissa Hile (James Stephens), Kelsie Olson (Nate) and two brothers Joshua (Joeie) and Tanner (Jessica), Nieces Piper and Phoebe Hile, Quinn Tyler, and nephews JP and Daxton Stephens along with his brothers in arms and countless friends, and his faithful companion Nollie. Calling will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., from 1pm to 5pm. The family prefers in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Ft. Wayne Veterans Hospital or a college fund for his nieces and nephews.
