Aaron Blackshear, Jr., age 79, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Danville, GA to the late Aaron and Mildred Blackshear. Aaron worked 28 years in the construction industry and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Fred R. Morris. He is survived by his wife, Erma Jean Blackshear; six children, Cynthia Blackshear, Sharon Blackshear, Aaron Blackshear III, David Masterson, and Jokella (Xavier) Long; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Willie Blackshear, and Lizzie Mae Stuckley. Aaron was preceded in death by his daughters, Angela Blackshear and Jessica Blackshear; and sister, LuLa Mae Reynolds; and brother, Robert Blackshear.
